Le Pas des Aigles is a child friendly farmhouse with 2 gites sleeping 8 each and a fenced pool and is on the outskirts of Saugon. La Sarrotte is a spacious villa sleeping 10 and a large pool, 2km from the village of Saugon. Le Bourg is an old house with a modern interior sleeping 7, in the village of Campugnan. The gites are situated among the peaceful vineyards around Blaye, to the north of Bordeaux, centrally located for touring the wine regions of St Emilion and Medoc, the Atlantic beaches of Royan and Arcachon, or exploring Bordeaux, the 6th city of France. The area is popular with cyclists and ramblers as it is very pretty and the roads are quiet. There is a variety of shops and restaurants within a 15 minute drive.
