The property is situated in the heart of the vineyards around Blaye, centrally located for touring, and close to Bordeaux, Libourne and the historic towns of St Emilion and Cognac, with the Medoc just a short ferry ride away. Previously owned by a French merchant, it has been tastefully restored and offers spacious and comfortable holiday accommodation for 7 adults and 1 child with a large enclosed garden. Bordeaux (Merignac) airport is just a 40 min drive away, with the property easily accessible via the excellent motorway and road network. The Gironde has many beauty spots, with the immediate area being popular with bird watchers, cyclists and ramblers. There are a variety of shops, restaurants and a hypermarket only 15 mins drive away, with a swimming lake with sandy beach, restaurant and childrens play area 10 mins away by car. |

Rentals that span more than one price period will be charged on a pro rata basis. We operate a flexible weekday only changeover day. We do ask that you leave by 10am and arrive after 4pm to allow time for us to prepare your accommodation. Prices include water, electricity, gas, linen and towels but heating and phone use will be billed separately. Please check the availability above to ensure that the required period is free and telephone (00 33 5 57 42 42 60) or e-mail k+g@gites-blaye.co.uk to provisionally reserve. A deposit of 25% will be payable immediately to confirm the booking. The balance will be due 8 weeks before arrival, together with the security deposit of 300. Please note that this will be banked and then reimbursed after your stay. |
